I took my car in for air conditioning diagnostics as the a/c didn’t seem to be functioning properly. Service Advisor (SA) listened to my explanation and recommended further diagnostics. I left the car with them overnight. They determined that there was a leak in a condenser, researched my extended warranty package, and determined that the issue was covered by my warranty package. Once that was determined they got all of required parts and fixed the problem quickly. I’m happy, i now have a working a/c. SA kept me appraised of the process as it unfolded and gave me the option of a rental car (didn’t need), and worked with the warranty folks to get everything fixed.

I came to AutoNation GMC for a simple oil change and mentioned to Adam that my AC had a strange smell — I asked if the cabin air filter could be replaced. I also told him I had purchased the vehicle exactly a year ago on April 8, which I feel should’ve prompted a system check or raised a red flag. Unfortunately, I was charged for the oil change, the filter, and even gave up my rewards. I left feeling taken advantage of — especially as a woman trying to navigate these things on my own after recently losing my husband. I felt like I was misled or overlooked, and that’s not a good feeling. That said, once the mistake was recognized, Juanita stepped in and took care of me. She refunded me for part of the service, and I truly appreciated her help. However, my rewards were not returned, and given the situation and the oversight, I strongly feel the entire service should have been comped. I’m sharing this not out of anger but in hopes that it helps improve the customer experience for others — especially those in vulnerable situations. This experience has made me hesitant to return.

My third use of this dealership. The first I waited 4 hours for oil and tire rotation and since it was my first scheduled maintenance I was to get my DEF topped off. Well, that did not happen, and the mechanic and service tech stated they do not do that. I explained I had a card from GMC stating the service was to be provided and yet they still denied the service only later to call me back and state they would if I were to come back. That was not going to happen as the fuel to drive back would cost more than the DEF fluid they were to top off my tank with. They did offer a free oil change for the hassle. Next visit I came in for the oil change and a few issues related to warning lights, power loss and information center connectivity issues. They changed the oil and reset the information center but claimed they did not have enough time to complete the rest of the items this was again four more hours waiting. The tech asked me to bring it back that they would need more time. I did a third time and again waiting 5.5 more hours 8-13:30 only to be told they still did not fix the issues. I would need to bring it back again and leave it for two days. So, yeah I am not overly happy. The service rep is very polite and attentive if it weren't for his demeanor I would not be coming back.

I'm not going to assign a number. Our truck was there 10 days. Communications was lacking--I had to reach out to Ryan Simpson instead of him reaching out to me. I have extended warranty thru Zurich and my deductible was only supposed to be $100--I paid $704. Once the parts finally arrived they only had 1 diesel tech and he had to fit us in. I had to-meet with Paul the Service Mgr. They did put a lug nut on and ordered the center cap for my rear wheel and installed it. I would appreciate it if someone would tell me why I paid so much and they didn't honor Zurich pricing? They had me over a barrel and I agreed for the them to go ahead and fix the truck since I needed to get back on the road to NC. Please call me if you need more clarification. I've been getting my truck service by them cuz they were closest to me had a really bad experience my last trip in I wanted my transmission checked out cuz I have a platinum warranty to have my truck for 21 days The only thing they did was replace the motor mounts and the manifolds transmission is still having problems The service manager told me in a text that it was because of my oversized tires which I bought the truck from AutoNation their dealership that way I had to pay 11 days on a rental car fee because it took them so long to get in the motor mount and manifold which I don't feel like I should have to pay and the industry where I work if it's not done in a fashionally time then I take responsibility this is the worst experience that I've had with a dealership I have contacted the dealership to talk to management multiple times and they have not contacted me back this is very unprofessional and a very unprofessional management I was going to refinance my truck through them and get a new 2-year extended warranty and buy another car from them but I'm taking my business elsewhere and right now today I'm working on financing My truck through my Capital One account eliminating AutoNation totally. Worst experience nickel and dimed I paid more than what they paid for warranty parts on my truck and putting them in and it took them 21 days.

Made an appointment when I arrived, I was told it would take several days just to get the tech to look at it but was told I had to leave the vehicle to keep my place in line. After several inquiries, the tech got to the vehicle to diagnose, then was told could not get a response from GM technical support. The service writer Adam was caught in the middle between service tech and GM technical. Very poor communication and no sense of urgency to follow up with anyone. Took a week to get the vehicle back. I still don't know what caused the high voltage error and neither does the dealer.

Assistant Manager Ryan Simpson is the problem. I make appointments for my services and not only does he not provide the service, he will not call and notify you. I called and left several messages for the status of the car….. he does not give the courtesy of returning any calls. My car is kept for a few days…. So I finally just show up in the evening of the third day that my car has been there….. the service has not been done….. like it’s nothing… no phone call, text…. Just an appointment where I was without my car and the service was not done. Previously I made an appointment 2 weeks out for window tinting and Ryan was supposed to let me know if the workers were going to be available. I kept calling a few days before the appointment….. no response from Ryan. I made an appointment through another phone number to repair the Apple CarPlay….when I showed up Ryan said it couldn’t be done. Another wasted trip. So I made another appointment…this time I dropped my car off for 3 days…. Still the work was not done. The window tinting was not completed.

I made an appointment for 8:30AM that was confirmed via text and within the myGMC app for a simple oil change. Upon arrival, I wasn't on their printed appointment list (but was somehow in their computer system). My service writer was kind enough to get me in and told me it would be about an hour. After two hours of waiting, I reached out for an update and was informed my truck was almost done. At the three hour mark I received a text that my oil change was complete. No tire rotation, no recalls, no software updates, and they didn't even clean the windows. 3 hours to change the oil. The DMV is more efficient than AutoNation GMC.

Called for battery check - truck progressively taking longer to start. I have been waiting for a call back from the GM since a couple of days after the date of my service. I have called twice to talk to this GM with no return call. Still waiting. All related to a battery that was covered under warranty. This wasn't the first time the battery was replaced but I went from a no charge replacement to I now have no warranty and had to pay $100+ for labor. My interactions with Ryan Simpson were deplorable; from the lack of interaction when I checked in to his derogatory tone while citing his explanation of what I was told when I purchased the original battery to when he gave me the business card of a Service Manager who had not been with the company for months. Certainly not the type of interaction I expected. When I told Ryan my battery was confirmed as being under warranty when I made my service appointment earlier in the day, he turned his back to me and called parts, confirmed again and updated me that the people I dealt with before had done things incorrectly and it wouldn't be handled that way again and the battery being installed would not be under a warranty. I would like to speak to the GM this week or I am prepared to publish an online review. Pam Smith 702.343.2444.

Horrible customer service. Ryan is completely arrogant and has no personable skills. Nothing but unnecessary delays with minimal to no communication. 6 weeks to change a water pump and thermostat is ludicrous. Even if you bought your vehicle here like I did, do not take your vehicle here for any service. I would actually suggest to avoid this dealership period.

Went in for an oil change with an appointment. Sat there for 4.5 hours. Customer service was horrible. A blonde lady smoking her vape when approached to ask on the status of my vehicle was the worst, she said it was none of her business and quite literally walked away. The fact that i spent my entire morning sitting there for a simple oil change is ridiculous. A long time customer was just lost and I will also make sure everyone that i can tell that this place is the worst.

I had a scheduled appointment on 8/29/25 for recall work. When dropping it off the service advisor that was assigned to the appointment was "working but on PTO". That does not even make sense! The work was completed in 3 1/2 hours. Service advisor Adam called and stated it was recommended to get the oil change cabin air filter replacement and cooling system and cleaning service done. I declined. A few minutes later Adam called back and stated the work was no longer recommended and was "needed" and was quoted $620 for the work. After further consideration I went ahead with getting the work done. It took another 1 1/2 hours. During the pick up of my car, no advisor was available and I had to wait several minutes. Once an advisor was available and it came time to pay the total due was more than what I was told by over $100. After picking up my car and returning home, I noticed on the work order they completed a service they were NOT authorized to complete. I also noticed when my car was turned off the cooling fans still ran for approximately 6 minutes. My car NEVER did this prior to the service completed on 8/29 by Autonation. Furthermore, my dashboard now shows the check engine light, which was NOT showing prior to the service. I called them immediately to discuss the issues and was told that "no one was available" and asked if I wanted it "escalated" to management. I said yes. This was around 3pm on 8/29. I have not received a return call and they were open on 8/30. I am highly dissatisfied with my service. I will be taking further action.

zero customer service from Ryan my advisor. Couldn't reach him on the phone, he never called back on my messages until the 3rd day in the shop when I told him by voicemail to have my vehicle ready for pick up without the requested service done. Before that I even tried to get to a manager but fat chance. After 10 minutes on hold, I gave up. I will now take my GMC Denali XL to another dealership for future repair and service.

As far as finding the right vehicle, learning about the vehicle and all in between, that experience was easy. My salesman Reggie was very easy to work with. Geoffrey reeves in finance on the other hand is a complete tool. That guy belongs at a Nissan or Kia dealership. He's short tempered, argumentative, get an attitude real quick if you ask any questions about numbers and totals. Doesn't want to explain anything. I also overheard him talking to another employee and Geoffrey is very demeaning. No company should be employing someone like him.

My Buick had a warranty Inspection/Oil Change/Tire Rotation scheduled on 9/5/25 at 1:00 pm. I dropped the car off and after a two hour wait the service was completed and I drove to several appointments. On Saturday 9/6/25 I drove the car on the freeway to a dinner date and back home. Sunday is when I normally check the fluid levels in the car and noticed the windshield washer fluid was not opened off during the service and the engine oil level was well over the knuckle on the dip stick. I contacted GM thru MY Buick app and they set an appointment at Auto Nation GMC Buick Henderson on Monday 9/8/25 at 11 am. I delivered the car to the Service Department and explained the situation with the oil level being grossly overfull in the engine. After a 30 minute wait the car was finished. Due to the car being parked on slope I could not check the engine oil level on-site so I drove home, waited 30 minutes and checked the oil level on the dip stick. The oil level was still over the knuckle on the dip stick and appeared to have not been addressed! I drove back up to the dealership and spoke directly to Mike the General Manager and Rick the Service Manager and explained the situation. Rick checked the engine oil level and confirmed that it was in fact grossly overfull. Rick personally took the car into the garage and had the situation corrected. This service on my brand new 2025 Buick Encore GX is not right when I had to take my time to have a simple fix taken care of and feel that I was blown off on Monday 9/8/25 on my 11 am scheduled visit. Furthermore, when a multi-point inspection takes place and fluid levels are checked I would expect ALL Fluid Levels to be topped off including the windshield washer fluid. With the shoddy service I experienced, now I have to question whether the Oil Filter was in fact changed? Is this how the dealership treats customers who pay CASH for new cars? Your Dealership Service Department deserves a One Start Rating However, I thank Mike and Rick for handling and resolving my complaint in a professional manner.

Assistant service manager recommended a lot of services that are not required being that some of the parts have been recently replaced. Also, he had us waiting for 2 hours for a scheduled oil change. I had to go check to see if my car was ready and the keys and paperwork were just sitting in his office. I’ve been coming to this dealership for years and this was the worse service I’ve ever had.

I had the car towed to the dealership on 10/7/25. I was told it was repaired and ready for pickup on 10/14/25, and full 8 days later. We came to get the car, and the problem was not fixed. We left the car, and it was repaired the following day, and we picked it up and the end of the day on 10/15/25. The repair came down to changing the battery and changing the electronics in the key fobs. It took your dealership 9 days to do that. That is 9 days that we were without a car. On the other hand, the staff that we dealt with were very nice. I had first called when I had a problem and was encouraged to have the car towed and told that the car was still under warranty. That turned out to only be partially true. Known of the parts causing the problem were under warranty and the battery and fob repair. Unfortunately, the whole experience was such that I will never go there again. I want buy another car from them or have any future repairs done there.

the service advisor made things more difficult. Dear Gibson Autonation GMC General Manager and Service Department, I hope this message is read in full and taken sincerely, as my intent is to provide constructive feedback regarding my recent service experience at Gibson AutoNation GMC. I put your leadership team to the test to review my report carefully, and I would be both surprised and appreciative to hear from upper management with any questions or reflections afterward. To begin, I want to emphasize that every individual I interacted with at the Gibson AutoNation GMC dealership was courteous, polite, and personally pleasant to work with. I did not experience any rudeness, attitude, or confrontation from anyone on staff. On a personal note, I hold no issues with your team whatsoever. Unfortunately, I must express that my experience was marked by what can only be described as organized chaos — specifically in the areas of scheduling (not even honoring a scheduled appointment), relaying accurate information, and PRIMARILY communication. Summary of Events: 1. I scheduled an appointment for a check engine/diagnostic inspection on September 3, 2025. 2. Juanita recommended that I bring the vehicle in on September 2 so it could be inspected first thing the following morning. I did so and met her in person. This initial interaction was the most positive aspect of the entire experience. 3. I did not receive any follow-up communication for the remainder of that week. 4. On Friday afternoon, I called and spoke with another representative (possibly Adam) who said the vehicle hadn’t been looked at yet but “they would get to it tomorrow morning.” 5. I called the next day—still no progress. 6. On Monday, I reached Juanita again. Still no update. At this point, I had been without a vehicle for nearly a week and requested a rental or loaner. 7. The following day, I was provided an electric Hummer loaner vehicle, which I appreciated. 8. Two more weeks passed without a single update. Then Juanita called—only to request the Hummer’s return. When I asked for a repair status, I was told the part needed had “no ETA for availability.” 9. Upon returning the Hummer, I met Rick, who explained that the part was delayed for several weeks and provided another loaner vehicle. 10. Another two weeks went by with no proactive outreach or update. I ultimately filed a claim with corporate, who expedited the delivery of the necessary part, scheduled to arrive on October 8, 2025. 11. On October 9, I called Rick to confirm the part’s arrival. Initially, he said it had not been received, but after checking, he confirmed it was and assured me the repair would be completed “by tomorrow night.” 12. The next day at 5:00 PM, with no word, I called again. James answered, and I had to re-explain the entire situation. He said it would be done the next day and asked me to call back if I hadn’t heard by 11:00 AM. 13. The following morning, after calling as instructed, James confirmed that my truck was ready for pickup. 14. Upon arrival, I spoke with James and Corey, who were both exceptionally helpful and communicative. Corey, in particular, took time to explain the repairs thoroughly. Their professionalism in the final 24 hours stood in sharp contrast to the preceding five weeks. While I recognize that parts delays can be unavoidable, what made this situation so frustrating was the complete absence of consistent communication throughout. I repeatedly had to initiate every update myself, often receiving conflicting information or no response at all. For more than five weeks, I felt disregarded and uninformed. Honestly like a piece or trash being kicked to the side of the road. It truly felt as though my vehicle—and by extension, my business—was forgotten for weeks at a time. I do not believe this stems from a lack of effort or care by individual employees, but rather from a systemic breakdown in communication, process management, and accountability within the service department. Regardless, something within your service process is clearly broken, and it’s difficult to understand how this can continue without being addressed. Furthermore, after describing my experience to a friend, they asked if I had seen your Yelp reviews. I hadn’t as it is rare I take others experiences to heart—but after reading them, it was disheartening to see how many customers have reported almost identical issues. This suggests that my situation is not an isolated case, but rather part of a recurring issue that should warrant serious internal review. It’s hard to believe that this ongoing pattern hasn’t prompted meaningful change. I say all this not out of anger, but out of genuine disappointment. This was my first brand-new luxury vehicle purchase, and I deliberately chose a certified GMC dealership for its reputation of professionalism, expertise, and integrity. Unfortunately, this experience has severely diminished my confidence in that standard. Moving forward, I will need to find a reliable GMC service center for maintenance and potential future repairs. My strong preference would be to continue with Gibson AutoNation—if I could be assured that communication and customer care will be handled differently. I truly hope that my experience serves as constructive feedback, and that improvements are made so other customers—and hopefully myself in the future—do not have to go through the same. I did not have my vehicle serviced on 11-11-2025. I turned it in on 8-8-25 and got it back on 11-7-25. And when i did, it was a rolling example of poor workmanship. All 4 tire pressure sensors were replaced. Tires were inflated to 26 psi insted of the 32 psi called for on the door sticker. Both front floor mats were installed with the hold down clips to the front indted of clipped in place to the rear. A bolt was left off the left rear wheel well liner causing a rattle. While there, the updates I received from Ryan were usually either misleading or out right lies. I was told brake lines were replaced and then he wanted to charge me for bleeding the brakes. Come to find out, it was an E-Brake CABLE that was replaced and he was talking about a brake fluid flush.

I scheduled for service, expecting about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours at your location. When I arrived, I was informed that I needed more than regular service and it would be several hours, sometime in the afternoon (my appointment was at 8:40. So, Ok, how about a ride home, which I got after waiting more than another hour. Late in the afternoon, i received a call that the service would not be done until sometime the following day. The following day was Veterans Day, when I had some duties at a booth regarding Veterans benefits. I was picked up to get my vehicle and received my vehicle a little after 9 am, so, I was late for my booth duty, which did not make me very happy.

Improved communication is strongly needed. While I understand that texting is commonly used, when a customer specifically requests a phone call to explain a situation and no one follows through, it reflects poor customer service. Additionally, when calls to the service department go unanswered and voicemail messages are not returned, it further adds to the frustration. Throughout this process, no one clearly or consistently explained what was happening with my vehicle. The diagnosis continued to change, and there was a lack of direct and detailed communication regarding the issue. As a result, I felt uninformed and dismissed as a customer. The only positive experience occurred at the end when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, despite the issue not being resolved. Adam was professional, attentive, and empathetic. He took the time to listen to my concerns, acknowledged the communication breakdown, and apologized on behalf of his colleagues. His customer service stood out and was greatly appreciated.

My truck underwent an engine replacement and was returned to me 65 days later with the replacement completed, but unfortunately, it also had damage to the hood, grill, bumper, and two front fenders. Following a brief conversation with Rick Berry, he initially stated that he needed to assess the damage and would not provide a loaner vehicle. However, he eventually agreed to provide one. Upon visiting the dealership on 2/2/26, Mr. Berry declined to discuss the damage with me and instructed his service writer to inform me to leave the pickup so the detail shop could evaluate and address the issues. Additionally, the truck displayed a service brake system message. Although they cleared the message today, it reappeared just 2 miles after I left the dealership. Consequently, my truck was out of service for 65 days, sustained damage with only 4,700 miles on it, and still requires attention to the brake system issue.

Bringing my car here was such an awful experience and I am horrified at how I was treated- because they made sure to bring up that I was a VPP (vehicle protection plan) and not an actual paying customer. I took my car in for a leak on 2/16 and it was in their care for a day shy of two months. In this time, the communication was so limited and I was the one constantly checking in to see what was taking so long. The problem was first confirmed on Friday 2/20 and an inspector from the warranty company was set to be out that following Monday. By Wednesday 2/25, they told me what the problem was and it would be a 40 hour job. Once completed, the job had to be done again because the new part was faulty. Understandable. However, after that it all went down hill. I called and it was confirmed that my car would be ready by Friday 3/13, because I was going out of town the following week. However by 3/14, no one had bothered to call me with an update. I called around 3:30 on a Saturday, giving them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were rushing to have it ready for my trip, only to be told my advisor and tech were gone for the day. The advisor I spoke with was apologetic and let me know he was going to personally message my advisor Sean and his boss Rick to let them know what happened. Come Monday, I still did not hear from them and I had to make costly arrangements to continue with my trip out of state. On Monday 3/15, while already in another state and not having heard from anyone, I called the GM of thr location and explained everything. He said he would speak with the service director, Rick, and have him get back to me. About 30 minutes later, Rick called me to let me know what was going on. I expressed my disappointment with the lack of communication and he informed me that it was atypical but he would be sure to relay the information and stay in touch. I also informed him of the costly arrangements I had to make to get to my destination and he stated that while he’s unsure how much he could do, I could send over my receipt for my arrangements. I let Rick know that through this entire process, I had been nothing but polite and patient but it was wearing thin. After 3 days, I still did not hear back and reached out myself. Forward to 4/3 and still no direct communication, I asked my husband to go in and talk to someone because I felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously. He spoke with Juanita who was shocked at the fact that my car was still there because she remembered taking the initial photos of it and he was told that Sean had been out due to an accident. My husband then asked to speak with Rick to try and find a solution because of this entire ordeal. My husband then asked to see the car and to his surprise, it had a dead battery. This is indicative of the car not being worked on. My husband told Rick that this shouldn’t be taking two months to which Rick responded “it has not been two months.” It was very close to it. Rick let my husband know that Juanita would be taking over my car and they were trying to find the newest problem it had because once the engine was out back together the check engine light was on, which it wasn’t before. He stated that it had to be taken apart again to find where the problem was and he would call me personally to let me know of what he and my husband talked about. Rick called me that same evening to let me know about what was going on that if I had not heard back by Monday 4/6 around 2pm, to give him a call because by this time, the tech should have taken the car apart to be able to find the problem. I called Monday around 4pm and I expressed my frustration to Rick about how costly this process had been as I had made two payments on my car without being able to drive it and I’d like to see this with a favorable outcome for me, including having the car fixed. He said let’s get the car fixed first and we’ll talk about that after. Tuesday 4/7, Juanita called me to let me know they may have found the problem and Sean had returned and he would be reaching out to my warranty company for the new found problem. I received a message from Sean that my car was ready 4/14. I replied to his message to ask if it could be washed and gassed up, as a courtesy. When I went to pick it up Wednesday afternoon, he told me everything that was done to it and let me know it was washed twice and vacuumed. He said that unfortunately, it could not be gassed because it technically had gas and there were no porters available. I thanked him and asked to speak to Rick. He walked into Rick's office to let him know I would like to speak with him. Off the bat, Rick was rude and condescending, very different from our phone conversations. I asked him about the car being gassed up as a courtesy and with a very condescending smirk, he said he couldn’t find the correlation between my car being serviced there and me needing gas. I expressed that it should be as a courtesy and I think I’m asking for the bare minimum. He laughed and said there was no justification for that and how. OST of the time was waiting for the warranty company. Never mind that he had expressed two different times that he would look into helping me out for the inconvenience: one with my arrangements to travel out of state and the second time on 4/3 when I expressed the burden of paying for a car I can’t drive. This is when he asked Sean about my car and mentioned twice that it was a VPP. I told him that while I didn’t pay for this service directly to them, I pay for the warranty that pays them. And no matter how many problems I have had because AutoNation sold me a lemon, I have always taken it to them but I had no problem taking it elsewhere. He was instantly bothered by this so he tossed Sean the card and told him to put gas. I said thanks and walked out. This level of customer service was a whole new level of disrespect. Especially after telling me twice over the phone how apologetic he was and how he would find something to help me out. Instead, he had to explicitly tell me how expensive gas was, as if this is an issue for a giant corporation. Never mind the everyday person having to make a car payment for a car they can’t drive. It was insulting. I hope that after reading this statement, autonation chooses to do right by their customers and make serious changes to how they treat them, warranty or not. I’ve had an awful experience with AutoNation since I first purchased the car in 2025, but this exceeded that in every way.

I anticipated the long process. Bob was great and took care of me very well, from vehicle selection based on features that I was looking for on my next truck and checking if I needed anything while I was waiting. Cadarius was pleasant. Maria was friendly and helped me through the document signing. Overall, it was a good vehicle buying experience with less pressure than what I have experienced in the past though I didn't particularly like the part when I was offered the warranty in several rounds even though I have declined and wanted to keep the amount being financed and monthly payment unchanged. I know where I am at financially and did not want to overspend.

The dealership was very poor communications. They returned the car multiple times without the issue being fixed after saying it was.. the parts department in the service department did not communicate about parts arriving. I had to contact GM directly who told me that part was shipped and had arrived. I’m over a month prior to me notifying the dealership that the part was even in their possession I made appointments to have my vehicle worked on however, the car sat at the dealership for over a week and a half before anybody perform the work. overall, your dealership had very poor customer service I would not recommend and I will not be returning.
